Prevent It Like a Gentleman

MAR Shopping Algarve promotes the sixth edition of "Prevent it Like a Gentleman", a solidarity activity that runs from 6 to May 21, at the meeting place. The initiative is focused on men's health and offers PSA screenings for early diagnosis of prostate cancer, at the HPA Clinic, in addition to a parade of vintage motorcycles and exhibitions of art and motorcycles throughout the month.

The screening "Prevent it Like a Gentleman" is completely free, being only necessary to book in advance, by contacting 302063457 or email clinicaloule@grupohpa.com, indicating the campaign of MAR Shopping Algarve. It is noteworthy that in the five previous editions, this initiative has registered over 1200 PSA screenings, which allowed the detection and treatment of cases in early stages.

The goal of the action is to reinforce the importance of prostate cancer prevention and male mental health, joining the international movement "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride", which brings together men and women on May 21 for a parade of vintage motorcycles.

This year, participants are invited to take a group ride, with the meeting point at Faro Cathedral, at 3pm. The day ends with live music, with DJ ROCKINDAD and the band HOT BILLY RODS, from 16h00, in the leisure area of MAR Shopping Algarve.

In addition to the screening and parade, MAR Shopping Algarve promotes two exhibitions: "120 YEARS OF EVOLUTION IN TECHNOLOGY & MOBILITY - The history of Triumph", which will be on display between May 6 and 21. Will be presented some of the most emblematic bikes of the "modern classic" range of the English brand. In parallel, will also happen the exhibition "Re-cycle" by João Jesus. A show that exposes metal works with the reuse of used parts from motorcycles, bicycles and cars.
