Born near Alcoutim, in Algarve, chef Leonel Pereira is an algarvias with an ambitious mission for his place within the Algarve Chef Experience at MAR Shopping Algarve: “to break the usual routine around food courts in shopping centres”. His ambition is justified. An expert in adjusting his creative process to the different venues he works at and having already been awarded with a Michelin star, he knows that the “ex-libris” of his restaurant will be defined by customer feedback. As the chef well knows, “customers never cease to surprise us”.
