Children's Day

The weekend of May 31 and June 1 will be entirely dedicated to children at MAR Shopping Algarve and Designer Outlet Algarve. Days filled with free activities, where there will be no shortage of entertainment, creativity, movement, and many surprises designed to celebrate Children's Day in style.

WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS
For three days, the play area in front of the Centroxogo store will be even more fun:

  • May 30 and 31 (Friday and Saturday), from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Creative makeup workshop with the WOW Generation brand.

  • June 1 (Sunday), from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Demonstrations of games such as Pinta Narigudo, Caneta Louca, and Triominos – Original Game.

KARATE KID’S DAYS
Inspired by the iconic world of Karate Kid, the Karate Kid’s Days event, promoted by Martial Kombat Fit Club, offers a weekend of movement, discipline, and overcoming challenges.

On May 31 and June 1, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., in front of the Mango store, children will be able to watch karate demonstrations, participate in open classes, and test their skills in children's motor skills circuits.

The initiative coincides with the premiere of the new Karate Kid movie in NOS cinemas and reinforces the values of respect, discipline, and the spirit of overcoming challenges in a safe and family-friendly experience, where any child can have their first contact with the sport.

OUTDOOR CREATIVITY
The outdoor leisure area of the Ingka Group's shopping complex will also come alive with creative activities and moments designed for the whole family:

Creative workshop (prior registration required on site) – On June 1, between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., artisan Susana Mendez will lead the workshop “Weaving a Little Donkey,” with two consecutive sessions that promise to awaken children's artistic and manual skills.

Face painting – On May 31 and June 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., little ones can let their imaginations run wild and paint their faces.

In addition, IKEA joins the party with outdoor yoga sessions—at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday—promoting well-being and mind-body connection among the youngest. This special weekend reinforces the complex as a landmark for family moments in the Algarve. A commitment consistent with its mission: to provide unique experiences that go beyond shopping and translate into moments of shared value.
